Reflective Statement, DUE Monday, November 3
Following the Interactive Oral, you will write a 300-400 word Reflective Statement that responds to the following prompt:
How was your understanding of cultural and contextual considerations of the work developed through the interactive oral?
Click on the file below for an example of a Reflective Statement appropriate for submission. You should NOT write about what you've learned about the characters, the theme, symbols or other elements of a fictional text. Supervised Writing, November 6
This is your in-class writing assignment which is required by IB. You will choose from 4 prompts and write for the entire class period.
Unit Test, November 11
Because our book is so long, I need to allow time for us to fully finish and discuss it before administering a test. So while the grading period may have officially ended on Friday, November 7, I will grade your test and input by the Gradespeed deadline so that it is included in this grading period.
C&P Essay, November 17
Three page analysis paper based on the supervised writing you completed on November 6th.
